Expak 24/7, LOGY breakfasts, new employee


Expak's service now available 24/7

We have heard your request. We have changed our maintenance routines so that the daily service break timed at 11pm is removed. Therefore, Expak is now available to all customers 24/7.

Expak product is constantly being developed further and the new releases are included in the service. At the moment, one of the focuses of product development is a mobile interface.



Expak's team reinforced

The recruiting efforts during this fall produced good results: Timo Pikkarainen started as our new technical expert on November 1st, 2018.

Timo is a 31 year old social and active young man, with strong skills in customer service and particularly in SAP. In addition to SAP, he's also adept in Linux, Javascirpt and .NET. Before coming to Expak, Timo spent the previous five years as a consultant at ADSOTECH Scandinavia Oy.

Welcome to our growing team, Timo!

Expak will continue recruiting at the end of the year.


Software From Finland to European Markets

Expak is participating in a training program provided by Software From Finland, with the goal of growing to the international markets. The training includes creating a bespoke growth strategy, a sales and marketing plan, financing applications and taking part in networking opportunities.

Practical training, top-level experts, customer cases and the experiences of other IT-companies will help Expak in creating a growth and internationalization plan.

October's LOGY-breakfasts

Expak organized, together with Leanware and LOGY ry, two breakfast events in October. We had filled venues at both events and after-event discussions were fruitful for all. Expak discontinues support for its old browser version

On December 31st, 2018, Expak Systems is discontinuing customer support for our older browser version we've been maintaining since 2011 and delivered from 2011 to 2013. There are roughly 10 customers still using the older version. The current version has over 80 customers.

The reasons for discontinuing support for the older version are answering customer needs, today's data protection demands and outdated technology. The current version is easier to use compared to the older one and it contains improved best data protection practices.
